Let’s Do It Together!

Well hello there!

Please enjoy this very short video of yours truly ;)

God bless and thank you thank you for your support and for watching :D

Happy Day!

Happy beautiful day to you :)

“In the day when I cried out, You answered me, And made me bold with strength in my soul” Psalm 138:3

Ahh yes, He did. Friends the day I came to the end of myself and cried out to God, was the day my life turned around. That was over 15 years ago. God has opened so many doors and I have walked through them. Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought I’d be where I am today. Talk about receiving boldness & strength, I have faced things I never thought I would get through. All honor and praise goes to God. Without Him, I can do and am nothing.

Know that wherever you are in life, God will meet you right there. It doesn’t matter what you’ve done or haven’t done. Our God is a God of second and third and fourth (and so on and so on) chances.

Reach out and take His hand, He will take you places you could never ever dream of.

I hope this day is beyond happy happy for you! :D

A Good Day Indeed

“Greater love has no one than this, to lay down one’s life for his friends” -Jesus in John 15:13

Yes, no greater love. What kind of God is this??? There is no other God that has suffered, that has loved, that has given grace as this one true God we serve- Jesus. No other god who has been through and experienced what we also go through and experience in this life. No other god has humbled themselves to our level so He can relate to us and meet us where we are. There is and never has been any other with such grace, mercy and love. True, true love.

Ahhh, friends what a magnificent God we have.

Thank You Jesus for being the ultimate sacrifice for our sins and shame. Thank You that You have interceded on our behalf. Thank You that You loved us so much to lay Your precious sinless life down for us.

And on a little personal note, Lord, thank You that I do not have to sacrifice any animals in place for my sins. PHEW! Yup, giving gratitude for that today! I don’t think, no, no, no, I know in fact, I could not sacrifice an animal. :D (haha)

As we go through this reflective day, as well as our  everyday’s, let us remember there is no greater God than this. This God Jesus, is the real true God, the real deal, the one true loving God who loves you like crazy and there’s nothing, absolutely nothing you can do about it ;)

I hope you enjoy this amazing song by Casting Crowns.

Have a blessed day!

The Real Deal

Happy day to you!

A couple of weeks ago I was invited to a Just Joy! Ministries Conference, No More Ordinary. I was thrilled! At first I thought, nahh, I “can’t” go, it’s in Buffalo and yadda, yadda, yadda. Well friends, long story short, I asked my friend Delia if she would like to go and she said, “sure!”.

April 4th, we packed up and drove to Buffalo.

Have you heard of Just Joy! Ministries? I hadn’t. As many of you who know me, know that I wake up before the birds everyday. One early morning (quite a few months ago), after Rob, my husband, left for work in the wee morning hours, he called to share with me that he has just listened to an amazing preacher on WDCX radio. He suggested I listen to her the next day

The next day came and I did not listen. After the show Rob called and asked if I had heard and I said nope.

Well, the next morning I listened. Her voice was so serene and pleasant. Gentle and loving. I thought, how lovely.

I tuned in the next day and the next and the next. I have been faithfully listening to Carol McLeod share her message on WDCX radio at 5:30am, for the past few months now. I’m so glad my husband told me about her (Thanks Rob! :D).

About a month or two ago, I felt God really convict my heart about sending Carol an email regarding my book. At first I said to God, “nahhh” But He said, “Yeaaaahhhhh”. Again I said, “nahhhh” and again He said, “YEEEAAHHHH” loud and clear.

So one early morning, I decided to send Carol an email. I started to write it and got side tracked. The email saved in my drafts for a couple of weeks.

After a few weeks had passed, God gently reminded me about getting in contact with Carol. I didn’t argue with God this time. This time I said, “Ok God”. Before I finished the email, I prayed and sent it off to Carol. To my absolute surprise, Carol responded within a couple of hours! I thought to myself, now this woman is very personable. Here she has a very BIG ministry and she took her time to personally respond to my email!

Carol accepted my recently published book, More of You less of me. I felt very honored and blessed that she did.

As weeks passed, Carol and I have kept in contact by email. As we kept in touch, Carol was so kind to invite me and a friend to her No More Ordinary conference in Buffalo. I am sooooo glad we went.

The Lord spoke to my heart that weekend and let me tell you friends, after Friday nights message, I was brave enough to go introduce myself personally to Carol.

Now, I gotta tell you, when I introduced myself to her, Carol welcomed me with opened arms and such a big, tight hug. As I introduced her to my friend Delia, she stood there with her arm around me and played with my hair!!! I was like, Lord, this woman has a heart for you! She is the real deal! Carol has a new book out entitled No More Ordinary. I got myself a signed copy :D

How beautiful it is to meet someone sharing Gods Word and goodness and be so personable and “down to earth”. That is God. And you know, the name of her ministry couldn’t be any more perfect; Just Joy! Ministries. You can see and hear the joy in Carol’s heart. That is the joy of The Lord. It’s amazing and so wonderful.

I am so grateful our paths have crossed. I don’t know what God is up to in regards to our lives crossing but I thank Him that they did.

Carol gave me the “ok” to post the picture Delia and I took with her.

A beautiful woman inside and out. That’s what God does my friends, He makes us beautiful from the inside out.

I highly recommend and encourage you to check out Just Joy! Ministries online or if you’re an early bird like me, tune in to WDCX radio at 5:30am to hear Carol’s message.

As always, thanks for reading and may God richly bless you!

My friend Delia is on the left, Carol in the middle and there I am on the right ;)

I’m Having Another Slice

Yup, another slice for me thanks.

Have you ever been so wrong about something and after some time passes and the dust settles, you’re able to see clearly? Ugh, yeah, that was me two weeks ago.

For those of you who don’t know, I have a very big faith in God. I want nothing more than for my life to seethe with His love and goodness, for my life to be an ultimate living sacrifice for Him.

Well, when things go wrong ,and even when they’re right, God is my “go to Guy” always. At times when life seems just so unfair to me I kick up my prayers and meditation time and start praying like a machine. This time I was praying for that someone who seems to know how to get me in just the right spots of my character flaws. Yup, my hubby.

Long story short, over the past month of me praying to God to open his eyes, God opened mine. Yuck and yikes!

Yuppers friends, was back. Ugghhh.

So what I want to say here is, no matter what goes on in life, in our situations or in our relationships (as much as I prefer to blame the other person haha) we always have a hand in the situation. Even when we are unable to see it at the time. But when we can become humble enough and take the focus off of the other person and whatever hurt we may be feeling, God is gracious to “grow us up” and show us ourselves. I’m so grateful for this next step in my healing and this awesome, incredible step up in my spiritual growth with God. What a good feeling it is to humble yourself in front of God and do the next right thing.

And on that note, I’m having myself another slice of humble pie. Anyone want a slice? ;)

Going With The Flow

Happy happy day to you my friends :)

So today is a day we acknowledge Autism Awareness.

I am posting a link to some really helpful and useful information regarding Autism. A good friend of mine writes this blog and she shares her experience, strength and hope with raising a child with Autism. My friend also shares some delicious recipes for those who have serious allergies to food.

I have a few followers here on my blog who  have children with Autism and I’m very happy to share this link with you.

So friends, parents, loved ones, whatever the day may bring, let us go with the flow and enjoy what the day may bring. Let us not resist but embrace.

To all us parents out there; give yourself a BIG hug and pat on the back for doing the best we can and for taking on this day with a smile :D
